Your trust matters to our community. This policy explains how ASHBA Student Data handles information on this marketing website and what will change when our services open.
Who we are
ASHBA Student Data is the digital services initiative of the Ghana Nurse-Midwife Trainees’ Association (GNMTA), ASHBA Zone, at ashbastudentdata.com. For privacy enquiries or requests, contact support@ashbastudentdata.com.
This policy covers this association website. External network, examination and payment websites have their own privacy policies.
Information we handle now
This website does not currently provide account registration, checkout, an AFA application form or a newsletter subscription. It does not ask for identity documents, examination details or payment information.
Your browser stores a record of your cookie preference, including the time you saved it. If you email us, we receive your email address, message and any information you choose to include. Please do not email Ghana Card images, payment credentials, one-time passwords or voucher PINs.
When you request a website, the hosting infrastructure may process technical information such as your IP address, browser, requested page and request time to deliver the page and investigate errors or abuse. We do not use this information for advertising.
Why we use information
We use information to deliver and protect the website, remember your privacy choice, respond to enquiries and meet applicable legal obligations. We process enquiry information to respond to your request and technical information for the legitimate operation and security of the site. Where consent is required, we will seek it and allow you to withdraw it.
We do not sell personal information, run targeted advertisements or use your enquiry to enrol you in marketing. Our handling of personal information is subject to applicable Ghanaian law, including the Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).
Sharing and external services
Information may be processed by the providers needed to host the website and handle email, by authorised association personnel responding to you, or where a lawful disclosure is required. Access should be limited to the purpose involved.
Links to WAEC and other external websites take you to services operated by those organisations. We do not send your examination details to WAEC through this website. Fonts and images are served locally; no third-party font request or embedded social tracker is needed.
We will identify operational arrangements and relevant safeguards before introducing account, payment or supplier services that share additional personal information, including any processing outside Ghana.
Retention and security
The cookie preference expires after 180 days and can be removed earlier using your browser controls. Enquiries should be kept only while needed to resolve the matter and satisfy applicable legal or recordkeeping requirements. A fixed operational retention schedule will be published when the customer services launch.
We limit access to information and use safeguards appropriate to its sensitivity. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Contact us if you believe information sent to us has been exposed.
Your privacy rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to your personal information, correction of inaccurate information, deletion where retention is no longer justified, or object to processing. You may also withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully carried out.
Send requests to support@ashbastudentdata.com. We may need proportionate information to verify that a request concerns your own data. Do not send identity documents unless a secure, necessary process has been explained. You may raise a concern with Ghana’s Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.org.gh.
Younger visitors
Students may use this website for information. Transaction and account eligibility, including any guardian involvement required for younger users, will be set out before registration opens. We do not knowingly solicit children’s identity or payment information on this marketing site.
Future services and updates
Customer accounts, agent accounts, orders and AFA applications will require additional information and service-specific notices. Before these open, we will explain required fields, purposes, recipients, retention and available choices.
We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the date above. Material changes requiring consent will be presented before the relevant processing begins.
